We have been selected for the JST Co-creation Space Formation Support Program (COI-NEXT) as the “Niigata ”Rice-Producing Region’ Bio-Community Hub Based on Regional Co-creation for a Fully Circular Resource System.”

We have been selected for the “Full-Scale Regional Co-creation” category of JST’s (Japan Science and Technology Agency) “Program to Support the Creation of Co-creation Hubs (COI-NEXT).” There were 18 applications nationwide for the “Full-Scale Regional Co-creation” category, of which three were selected.

By leveraging its abundant resources and technology, this center aims to preserve “Niigata, the Rice Capital,” for future generations and to realize a society centered on “food production” fostered by the countryside—a society where young people can continue to live.
