Research and Development Task 5: Black Soldier Fly (BSF) breeding facilities were established on tea plantations in Kagoshima Prefecture.

On Sunday, May 21, we installed a breeding facility for American robber flies at a tea plantation in Kagoshima Prefecture.

For Project 5, we have been conducting rearing experiments with American soldier flies in Nagaoka City with the goal of developing a preferred food source.

With the cooperation of Kagoshima National College of Technology, we have recently installed new breeding facilities at a tea plantation in the warm climate of Kagoshima Prefecture.

Going forward, we will conduct experiments aimed at expanding our breeding capacity.
