A delegation for rice cultivation observation visited our university from Ghana.
On Tuesday, May 30, to observe the implementation of Japan’s rice cultivation research and development technologies, Geneviève Edna Apalu, Ghana’s Ambassador to Japan, Joseph Siaw Ajipon, founder and chairman of the Jospon Group (JGC), along with approximately 20 other members of the Ghanaian rice cultivation study tour, visited our university.
Following President Kamado’s welcoming remarks, Associate Professor Hatamoto and Assistant Professor Adelin presented an overview of the COI-NEXT project, and Assistant Professor Watari introduced initiatives related to water treatment.
The members of the delegation showed strong interest in the COI-NEXT project, and a lively exchange of views took place.
We will continue to foster exchanges with members of the Ghanaian rice farming study tour delegation, and we will also actively welcome study tours from both Japan and abroad.
