The members of the Japan Healthcare Association visited Nagaoka City.

On Tuesday, July 4, and Wednesday, July 5, a group of six people, led by Mr. Niwa, Chair of the Vegetable Health Promotion Subcommittee of the Japan Healthcare Association, visited Nagaoka City.

On the 4th, after touring Nakamura Agricultural Products’ fields, we attended a presentation on Honen Agri’s initiatives and toured their potting soil factory.

On the 5th, we toured the fields at Nagabe Farm and held a discussion at our university.

We were grateful to have visitors inspect the initiatives underway in the rice paddies of Nagaoka, a major rice-producing region, and we received valuable feedback from everyone concerned with food and agricultural health regarding our exit strategy, our approaches, and future collaboration.
