Nakamura Farm

Ten years ago, there were about 20 farmhouses in the village, but due to the soaring prices of agricultural machinery and other costs, farmers have been leaving the profession one after another, and now there are only 7. I feel a sense of crisis that in 10 years, there may only be one or two left.
Our company was incorporated 10 years ago. We have been protecting rice paddies by taking over farmland from people who are leaving the agricultural industry. We are also working to train young successors. Through this project, we hope to collaborate with people from various industries and make agriculture an attractive industry.

Hyakushoukai

Our company produces and sells mineral rice, grown in rich soil, by using rice bran and discarded agricultural products to create konuka pellets for soil improvement.
The rice cultivation field is facing numerous challenges, including procuring supplies, utilizing waste such as rice husks, and providing employment during snowy winters. We hope for a society where science and technology can solve these issues, making agriculture a sustainable industry and a source of employment.

Osabe Farm

Our farm has been engaged in food education activities through rice cultivation for 25 years. When rice paddies are viewed not just as production sites but as "fields," they can also serve as places for play, food education, and tourism resources. We believe that creating opportunities for children to experience agriculture through rice paddies is "sowing the seeds" for the future, 10 or 20 years from now.
Currently, few people aspire to work in agriculture. It is now our opportunity to create a future where those who wish to farm can do so. This is difficult to achieve with the efforts of farmers alone, so we want to work with various people to solve the challenges facing agriculture.
