Through a symposium aimed at citizens, we will think together with the citizens about the future of the region.

03TANBO trip/HAKKO trip

HAKKO trip: In cooperation with Nagaoka City, we hold an annual event in the Setsudaya district of Nagaoka City, an area rich in brewing industries, to promote the region's fermented and brewed culture as a local resource.

TANBO Trip: An event where you can have fun learning about rice while experiencing the power of science and technology and the charm of rice paddies was held in July 2023.

04Idea contest

We have been holding an annual idea contest on fermentation for students across all National Colleges of Technology since fiscal year 2017. We will incorporate the fresh ideas of students who will lead the future into our center's activities.
