I visited a partner farmer in Nagaoka City.

On Wednesday, June 7, we visited Nagabe Farm, Nakamura Agricultural Products, and Hyakusho-kai—all of whom are collaborating on this project—and exchanged views with them.

In the “rice paddies” being farmed under contract for this project, rice planting has been completed, and in some paddies, the mid-season drying period has already begun.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they grow from here.
