Nagaoka Bioeconomy Symposium 2024 (Part 2)
The Nagaoka Bioeconomy Symposium 2024 was held on Tuesday, February 27, and a poster session took place as Part 2 of the event at NaDeC BASE on the 5th floor of Miraie Nagaoka.
Companies, research institutions, universities, and national colleges of technology participating in the consortium, as well as many other related organizations, presented the results of their ongoing research.
Among the more than 100 posters on display, approximately 20 faculty members and students from our university also presented their work.
As part of this project, we presented our activities at our facilities and introduced our various research and development initiatives, leading to a lively exchange of ideas with representatives from other organizations.
At the public relations booth for this project, we had a great opportunity to share the farmers’ “approach to cultivation and their dedication,” as well as the challenges they faced growing rice during last summer’s intense heat, and we distributed the rice—grown with great care—to all the participants.
We hope that the spirit of this project reaches all of you who participated and that the circle of support continues to grow.

(We also had participants from the RIKEN Institute for Task 1.)
