Symposium 2024 will be held on November 7th.

This center is about to enter its third year since being selected for the COI-NEXT Regional Co-creation Program (Full-Scale Type).

At this hub, with the goal of passing on Niigata—a “rice-growing region”—to the next generation, we have been working to realize a fully resource-circulating bio-community in Niigata by leveraging the prefecture’s abundant resources and biotechnology. We have been advancing our initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, including farmers, manufacturers, local governments, and financial institutions.

We are organizing a symposium as described below to present this year’s initiatives and research findings, and to discuss, network, and exchange information regarding the future prospects of this center’s activities.
