11/11 COI-NEXT Symposium 2025 will be held
At this base, we aim to increase the added value of "agriculture" through the power of science and the artisanal skills of farmers, and to pass on attractive "rice paddies" to the next generation. We are moving forward with our business by sharing current situations and challenges with regional stakeholders, including farmers, manufacturers, local governments, and financial institutions, and discussing them.
We will be holding a symposium as follows to discuss, interact, and exchange information regarding this fiscal year's initiatives and research outcomes, as well as the future activities of this center.
This will be the fourth time this symposium has been held. This year's theme is "Connecting to the Future," and we will feature young business owners involved in rice utilization. They will share their thoughts on utilizing underutilized resources and business succession, as well as initiatives for developing and inheriting traditions and technologies. We hope to create a space where we can think together about the future of the rice industry, not just for farmers but for everyone involved. We look forward to welcoming many participants.
