(Updated 11/1) Symposium 2023 will be held

It has been nearly a year since this center was selected for the COI-NEXT Regional Co-creation Program (Full-Scale Type).

At this hub, with the goal of passing on Niigata—a “rice-growing region”—to the next generation, we have been working to realize a fully resource-circulating bio-community in Niigata by leveraging the prefecture’s abundant resources and biotechnology. We have been advancing our initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, including farmers, manufacturers, local governments, and financial institutions.

We are organizing a symposium as described below to present our past initiatives and research findings, and to discuss, engage in dialogue, and exchange information regarding the future direction of this center’s activities.
