We will provide snow-aged rice to the Murakami Sasagawa Flow International Triathlon!

The 33rd Murakami-Sasagawa Nagare International Triathlon will be held on Sunday, September 28, in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Sea of Japan and the historic streets of Murakami City, the event will bring together approximately 600 athletes.

The Standard Distance Triathlon covers 51.5 km (swim: 1.5 km, bike: 40 km, run: 10 km), with the swim taking place at Senami Onsen, the bike leg along the Sasagawa Nagare Coast, and the run through the streets of Murakami City.
We hope all the athletes will enjoy the water, wind, and nature of Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture to the fullest.

Following last year, we have once again been given the opportunity to promote the rice stored in our facility’s snow cellar.
Believe it or not, the overall winner will receive 30 kg of snow-cellar-stored rice! It’s said that the average person eats one byo (60 kg) of rice per year, so 30 kg is enough for half a year! In addition, the winners of each category will receive 5 kg of snow-cellar-stored rice. To all the competitors: Give it your all and aim for the top!
